The International Committee of Memorial Museums in Remembrance of the Victims of Public Crimes (ICMEMO) will host its first webinar on the 28th April at 15:00 (Central European Time) on "Memorial Museums in the time of COVID-19: Reflection, Response, and Creative Strategies for the Future".
Join a discussion organised by Aspen Initiative UK on the future of museums with Dr Tristram Hunt (Director, V&A), Diane Lees (Director General, Imperial War Museum), and Mark Urban (Diplomatic Editor, BBC Newsnight).
Hosted by UCL Urban Laboratory, "Night Scenes" is the first conference linked to a three-year research project exploring nocturnal public spaces in eight cities in the Netherlands, Ireland, UK, Germany, Denmark and Portugal.
Hosted by DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University and Culture Action Europe, the final Mu.SA conference will discuss "The future of museum professionals in the digital era". In light of COVID-19, this conference will take place online on 15 April 2020 from 10am to 2 pm (CEST).
Museums and the Web run an annual conference in North America and Asia and occasional "deep dives" to sites of digital innovation in the field. MW20 will be held in Los Angeles.
