The 2019 conference of We Are Museums will be held in Katowice, Poland, at the Museum Slaskie, focusing on “Next-Door Museums”: examining how local communities can breathe life into cultural spaces and how they, in turn, become a focal point for communities and individuals.
Brokering Intercultural Exchange is an AHRC funded network of researchers, policymakers, and arts and cultural management practitioners who are interested in developing greater critical discourse on the contribution of arts and cultural management to intercultural understanding. The annual conference will bring together researchers from different fields as well as practitioners who are keen on investigating these ideas through presentations and discussion.
TEH Conference #87, "pARTicipation", is the annual meeting of Trans Europe Halles, a network of self-organised cultural centres with over 100 members across Europe, and will focus on arts and participation.
