Archiving 2020


Since 2004, the Society for Imaging Science and Technology has hosted the annual Archiving conference to bring together imaging scientists and those working in the cultural heritage community as well as in government, industry, and academia to discuss the most pressing issues related to the digital preservation, preservation, and access of 2D, 3D, and AV materials.

Keynote speakers include Roy S. Berns; Leslie Johnston (National Archives and Records Administration, USA); and Effie Kapsalis (Smithsonian Institution).

Due to COVID-19, this conference will be held online. Short courses will take place between 11-15 May, and technical papers will be presented 18-21 May, with longer times for Q&A. Courses and papers will be scheduled between 10:00-14:00 EDT, with talks and courses to be recorded.
