Organised by the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture, HackCreative: An Industry Transformed is an online hackathon for culture and creative industries.
The free hackathon will take place on 1-3 May, and the platform will be open on 29 April. For two days, participants will discuss ideas and build teams, and starting on 1 May, the participants will have 48 hours to collaborate and build a solution, ending on 3 May with the announcement of the results. The hackathon invites industry leaders, creatives, artists, event organisers, and culture workers to build new solutions for this unprecedented challenge of COVID-19, building new projects to adapt to the current reality and come out of it even stronger. It will not require previous experience in digital technology, only a proactive interest in working on new solutions.
Workshops will be held on Zoom, while Slack workspace will be the main platform for communication and Typeform platform for hackathon idea submissions.
